We just released our mp3 search engine app called MP3 Magic. You can find mp3's just as you can find on Google. Search copyleft and creative common mp3 songs.

good app, but why did it disappeared from the playstore?

I had it on both Amazon and Google Play. A music industry copyright lawyer had the app pulled on Amazon, so I unpublished it on Google Play. Didn't want the app to get banned.

Technically, the files were hosted on other web servers. The app didn't actually host anything. I had a scraper that would scour the web for mp3 files and a database that would save the links.

When it was up, it had thousands of installs in a very short period of time.

I used to create a legal MP3 downloader which downloads only cc and copy-lelft mp3, yet my whole account was banned without any notification email and reasons. I sent the appeal to GP, and they replied to me telling me that they banned my account because it is related to another banned account! Lolz...they never accept their mistake!
