Android Question mysql jdbc connection database

Hello.
i would like connect my app to a remote mysql server (mariaDB) for only save data in a log table.
i have find some code in forum, but i continue to have connection problems:

Have you tried to change "localhost" with the ip of your mysql server?

yes, with the ip of my pc where run xampp.
but not work. i have add port number, nothing...

The url you are using is attempting to connect to your phone’s IP address (the localhost portion of the URL). Since no mariadb is running on your phone, the connection refused error message makes sense

Try to desactivate the firewall.
can you connect with php from another computer?

if on from phone, i imput pc, server, i have access to folders in localhost..

it seems that the database access is forbitten for phone IP

By default, root can only log in from the machine the DB is installed on. Either, 1) create another user and give them access from the outside or 2) change root's access policy (not really recommended). Some resources that may help in your endeavor:

1) Configuring MariaDB for Remote Client Access
2) Enable Remote Access (Grant)
3) Grant Remote Access to Root in MariaDB [On-Prem]
