I got the message in AdMob about missing app-ads.txt.
Since it is my first app, in recent time, I have little idea about it.

I read about it in Forum and also did GSearch.
Since I do not have any paid website, I use free GSite, I do not have any domain.

I did not get any info on hosting the app-ads.txt file at GSite.

Below are the websites I found which does hosting for free,
B4X:
https://app-adstxt.dev/
https://www.app-ads-txt.com/

There is also a suggestion for "https://www.blogger.com/"

Now my query is, anyone has tried above sites for app-ads.txt ?
Any suggestion which one to use ?

Note: I do not want to use Firebase, as had problem earlier.

I do not know as i never used Ads or even app-ads.txt....

do you "just" need to provide a URL to google for it?
The domainname does not need to be owned by you?

Hi. I think you need put the file in same domain where you have the other information Google ask you, like Privacy Politic or app help. There it must have some relation. What is the reason to put this file at a "random" Server?

I am making the app to understand how to make, upload, add ads etc. for Android app, with first hand experience. It is more like learning than making money.

Long time ago I tried to publish two apps at GPlay but was rejected for one reason or other. Also I had problem in understanding the steps.
Now with so many tips and help from members, I felt confident to try again.
  1. I made simple list app, taking cue from samples on Forum.
  2. I added widget using excellent sample from Forum.
  3. I made aab and added private keys easily in the ide.
  4. Uploaded to GPlay with steps guide from Forum.
  5. It went for Review and became live after a week.
Good this part completed. Finally one app is on GPlay.

Now for next step, I added sample ads, and it worked with lots of help from members.
I created admob a/c and banner id, taking guide from Forum.
The test ads are showing but the my id is showing blank.

Visiting the admob site I found the prominent message about app-ads.txt. I thought, maybe that is reason why real ads not showing.

Again Forum search helped me, with some message and links, but since many are old, I decided to ask here.
One of the member has mentioned about using "https://www.app-ads-txt.com/" here, so I may go for it.

As I said I am more inclined in learning all steps than making app for money or stars now.

If your query about any free host, you can use any free host provider, it is not matter the domain name.
Example: use this free host and add your app-ads.txt in it, check it by opening in browser and then provide google with this new url you created.
