Need to instal .Net every time I turn on

Installed Basic4ppc and .Net on a Windows CE device and all works fine - but when I turn it off and back on I need to re-install .Net to get Basic4ppc to work again ? :sign0085:

Is this is a cheap Netbook. I've got a CNMbook that used to do that as a "security feature". It needed a ROM update which fortunately was made available shortly after I bought it. It's still a crap slow device with rubbish software that I regret wasting money on

its a "Win CE device, version 5 build 1400 and has a Telechip, ARM926-TCC79C processor (from Maplin in the UK)" and at £60 is cheap'ish but appears well made and was £99 until a few weeks ago.

I can't tell which device it is from your description but I bet its running much the same WinCE version as mine and requires a different ROM to let you save anything between boots. If it's one of these B Grade Windows CE Ultra-Portable Netbook : B Grade Sale : Maplin it looks identical to mine and you could take a punt on bricking it with the ROM upgrade at CnM Lifestyle Products - Technology for everyday people!. I can't give you a direct link as it is a weirdly written web site but go CnMnook -> Silver -> Downloads -> Firmware upgrade. Otherwise I think you are stuck with its behaviour.
