Android Question Passing variables between activities through Process Global

I have a problem when passing global variables between two activities (main and a2).
In the following example, the global variable named x is initialized to 123 in the main activity. When I print x in activity a2, I get 0.
What wrong I do?

Sub Process_Globals
    'These global variables will be declared once when the application starts.
    'These variables can be accessed from all modules.
    Public x As Int
End Sub

Sub Globals
    'These global variables will be redeclared each time the activity is created.
    'These variables can only be accessed from this module.

    Private Label1 As Label
