Android Question Permantly hide systembars

Hi,

I am looking for a solution to hide all systembars permantly. Now I am using Immersive Mode, but the user has the possiblity to make the bars visible. This was the closed working way I could find. Disabling RecentApps and Home will do also.

I tried a few examples, old and new based on Themes and Java examples from this forum, but I did not got it to work.
I am not working in Pages. TargetSdkVersion=35.

Someone has a link to a thread or has an example for me?

Thank you John. This is what I need, but I also need to distribute the app and this kiosk app is only possible to install connected to a device. And the device needs to be clean (no accounts) as far as I read.

Is this correct or am I mistaken?

I haven't work with Kiosk apps personally, so I don't know for sure - I just wanted to see if you knew about them and if they would fit your needs.
