ping.dll V1.1 doesn't work on WM2003

Hello,

I read the threads regarding the ping.dll library. I understood it in that way, that the version 1.1 of the library should work on the ppc as well. Unfortunately I get the attached error messages when using the demo program.

Is there any chance to implement ping on my Medion 95000 with windows mobile 2003?

Those error messages look like you have compiled the demo for the desktop and not the device. However I don't think it will work on WM2003 when correctly compiled. It fails on my WM2003SE Axim X30 as that OS doesn't seem to support the network socket type that ping requires. It does work on WM6 and probably WM5 but as I don't have a WM5 device to test I can't be sure.

thank you very much for your very quick reply. Your answer gave me the right idea. I missed to copy the ping.dll to the device. Unfortunately you are right the ping demo doesn't work anyway. But now the ping of the db2000 ping test.sbp from db2000 ping (CF1).zip works on my Medion 95000 with WM 2003.
