PreferenceActivity value updated ?

Question 1:

Hi, I use the second line to show the value.
How can I achieve that after entering ...

cat1.AddEditText("waehrungssymbol", "Währungssymbol", waehrungssymbol,"")

.. the value is updated in the second row ?

Question 2:

if i use this Library, then save the variable is no longer required to file ?

1. You can only update it by showing the PreferenceScreen again after the user returned to your activity. Which means that the user will not see the updated value they close the preference screen.

2. The preferences are saved automatically to a file. You do not need to save them yourself.
