You shouldn't rely on any specific event to persist important data (you can wait for Activity_Pause). You can add an intent filter listening to: android.intent.action.ACTION_SHUTDOWN Intent filters: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/t...sms-messages-in-the-background.20103/#content Note that it will start your app if it is not currently running.
