S sorex Expert Licensed User Longtime User Apr 18, 2016 #2 now this is a coincidense. yesterday I had the exact same idea for my mothers new relax sofa. are the relays really needed? I thought I could bypass the buttons while those are on a 5 or 12V circuit. The motor might be on a 220V circuit?

Alberto Iglesias Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Apr 18, 2016 #3 Hello Sorex, In my case yes, because my sofa is already created with a 29vcc motor. I just simulate the two push buttons with the relays. Its easy, once you understand the GPIO ports and connect those relay mode.
