Android Question Read RFID tags

Hi All

We have some RFID tags that we use to log our time in out etc...
I would like to reuse them for logging into handheld devices to save people carrying around lots of different tags / fobs etc...
I am told the tag is RFID and the handheld device is able to read it.
Is there a library or has anyone got an example of reading RFID at all please?

Many thanks

Thanks for the link; I have successfully read NFC tags using that library but I need to read RFID.
I tried scanning with the AdvancedNFC sample but it does not even register the presence of the tag let alone read it.
Not terribly knowledgeable on such things but it may be that the tag is using a frequency that is out of range for phones...

And...... that is exactly the problem.
The phone is HF RFID (I.e. operating in the high frequency range of 13.56Mhz) but the old tag was LF RFID operating at 125Khz.

Solution. Stick some cheap NFC tags to the back of the RFID tag with the same data on and we have lift off.

Thanks for the replies anyway.
