reduce app size

Just asking if there would be any tips on a way to reduce the size of a app with a lot image and music files, files folder is like 16mb any tips to reduce this. I have made all images that don't need transparency jpgs and made all audio .ogg. I concede there may be no way around this. The app does have 5 activities, would combining some off these reduce app siz?

Not really. I have an app with like 30 activities and it comes in at like 600kb. Only thing you can really do is compress your image and audio files further.

At least during development you can manually copy all the files to the sd card and then load them from the sd card instead of File.DirAssets.
You can use a variable and then just change its value:

Dim filesFolder As String
filesFolder = File.DirAssets
'OR filesFolder = File.DirDefaultExternal

...
LoadBitmap(filesFolder, "1.png")

Make sure to remove (and delete) all the files from the Files tab.
