request info about streaming software

Hello,

I think to use Vitamio library on basic 4 pcc,
my project is to create an software for android the that read via streaming or smb the midia file on linux server.
The media file are read on android tablette, from pc server.

is it possible with in particular the streaming ?
what best solution streaming or read directly smb share ?

have you any idea for streeming software that can i use on linux server?

You can probably use VLC (VideoLan) which is free. There are other streaming-software which might be better for multi-broadcast but I think they are not free.
