rich text for device

Has anyone managed to import a rich text text box functionality for device yet, or is anyone creating a library etc..

I do a search every now and then but I have never found a Rich Text control for the device. My http://www.b4x.com/forum/additional-libraries/3955-htmlpanel-rich-text-device.html library that displays XHTML- like content is the closest thing I know of or you could use my http://www.b4x.com/forum/additional-libraries/1862-web-browser-desktop-device.html#post10142 library to display "real" HTML.

How could I use this to create a syntax checker like in VB, where items are highlighted and syntax is amended with captilisation etc, every item i guess must be a cell of a table or would a string parser work with a row set.

Im not sure how this could be achieved.

The problem would be how you reference each word subtext as an object, hmm php would work!

You can't directly edit in either HtmlPanel or WebBrowser, they are display only. To display formatted text you will need to parse your text into suitable HTML. How you do that I leave up to you!
