B4J Question RS485 Direction

Hi All,
i'm using the GPIO Serial of my RPi for a project. It's connected to a MAX485.
At the end of the serial transmission i need to change the driver direction.
How can I know when the trasmission has ended so that i can switch the driver direction to enable receiving?

There is no way to know when the transmission has ended. However it should happen quite fast. Add Sleep(100) and change the direction.

I know a delay would be helpful but I desired a more elegant solution, within 100ms the connected devide should have already answered.
We made an hardware workaround, solved.
