Sales on Google Play and Amazon

Hi

I wanted to find out what experiences any one has had on Google Play and Amazon. I ported 10 apps with this development system and posted them on Google Play and Amazon. In two months I sold 5 on Google Play and about 12 on Amazon. I have been very disappointed at these poor sales , I have sold hundreds of apps on Windows 8 and maybe thousands on the iphone and iPad - the same apps. I am thinking the on Google Play all the users are searching for free apps not paid ones. I don't know what is up with Amazon , my apps are in real estate, finance , rental management and advanced math.

Has anyone had the same experience or any suggestions? Is it worth it to even consider Google or Amazon?

For me, it's Amazon sees around 10% of sales of Google Play. Although all my Apps are free, ad supported.
