Screen Resolution

Hello,
using GetDeviceLayoutValues.Height in my acer iconia tab a101, i have this result:
B4X:
GetDeviceLayoutValues.Width = 600
GetDeviceLayoutValues.Height = 976

The first one is correct, but heigth value should be 1024. Why not?

hello donno if this helps but my nexus does the same
says smaller screen height as it does not count bottom (Back,Home,Recent) and top notification bar

i think this is the reason, hope it helps

This is correct. The reported resolution is equal to the dimensions available to the activity.

By making your app fullscreen, you can ignore the status bar size (and that gets added back), but if your device has software buttons then you're out of luck in regards to maximum resolution.
