SDK manager updating

Since ever I update once a week or so using the SDK manager. Never had any problems. I saw some threads about not using it. To be honest: I don't get it why one should not update. Can anyone explain it in without posting a link to another threat?

Guessing here but possibly because some of the B4A specific jars under the SDK extras folder are compiled against specific SDK library. versions.

Some of the updated resources are not compatible with the current B4A tool chain. They will be supported in the future.
