search result page numbering not helpful

Further to above, I am getting old. Have difficulty in recognizing the bold and understanding which search page I am at. The message page numbering are more clear and helpful.

Can we have similar navigation for search pages too ?

Firefox with zoom level 110%
I check in normal zoom (100%) and it shows bigger letter for current page, but then the fonts in webpage are too small for me to read comfortably.
I keep 110% zoom for all website.

Can we have some more distinct marker for current page ?
