i think what they mean is that you can create a scheduled task with it so basically make your own alarm app but i think this will work only if your app is in background and not when it is closed by user. (i may also be wrong )

Will it also trigger if the app is not working on the background ? ( lets say user restarted the device and did not launch the app before the scheduled notification )
