Just jumping into this discussion since it might also be related to recent updates of Win10. I don't use WIFI - my household computers are all connected using LAN/ethernet - but from time to time browsing fails due to problems with DNS and I need to restart a computer to get things up and running again. Bypassing DNS, using a numeric IP-address everything works fine. Even flushing the DNS won't work.
The odd thing, this happens also on my son's computer (also Win10) but does not happen on my wife's computer (which has not been updated for a while) so I think it is related to recent updates of Win 10. Of course, I cannot exclude a router issue but it seems fine.
When these problems appear, starting a VPN, then everything is fine.
I am not using the DNS-servers assigned by my IPS-provider but those of Google (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) on all computers.
Can this also be related to networking problems with the latest updates of Win10?
