Android Question Sound file limits

Is there a size limit for audio using standard audio library? Files of 5 seconds or so and 2000+ kb do not play, just dead air. I tried loading the file from the directory with the same results. I have no tried another view yet.

SoundPool is limited to short audio files. You should use MediaPlayer for larger files.
