I've got 2 different apps, one was originally written on v1.9 and one on the latest version. Don't know if this is significant.
Each app has a spinner button.
On the old one, the spinner has a down arrow, the new one has an arrow at 45 degrees.
On the old one, when you click, it is a white background with radio buttons, on the new its black background and no radio buttons.
I would really like the old one back, but not sure how they are different.
