This is an example of a splash screen waiting for the gps to connect.
I've included quite a few graphics that look really nice from the Internet.
I feel like I have copied and pasted so many projects to get me started
That I have forgotten the sequence of events.
So I'm not sure if this code handles all circumstances
Once the gps connex I stop the gps and display the main panel
If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve this simple splash screen waiting for gps to connect please let me know
Not implemented yet but if he is a map app on exit we could save the last map and use it as the splash screen background on next run
