Storage.SelectDir (False) does not work on Android 4.2.2 - SDK 17

Good morning,
I'm testing my App on a Samsung Tab 2 (SM-T110) with Android 4.2.2, but when I try to use Storage.SelectDir (False) unfortunately the folder explorer does not open to select the folder outside the App. How can I proceed? Should I use other methods for this version? On my Samsung S21 Ultra everything works perfectly.
P.s. no type of error appears in the log.

I think ExternalStorage only works on SDK 19 and later. If you can find the path to the external SD card (which I assume is what you want) then I think the normal File.xxx operations might work but Android 4 is so old that I can't remember.

Not even this call works on this version

kvs.Initialize (rp.GetSafeDirDefaultExternal (""), "userconfig")

that's the only way it works

kvs.Initialize (File.DirInternal, "userconfig")

In addition, OAuth2 authentication also fails.

I guess it suits me merre like minSdkVersion 19.
