Telnet Connections

Does Basic4Android have the ability to make telnet connection and get responses? if not how would I go about this?

Yes, you should use the Network library (together with AsyncStreams) to make a connection. You will need to implement the Telnet prorocol: THE TELNET PROTOCOL

I connect to a terminal using AsyncStreams for Telneting.

now once I'm logged in, I have to login again but the connections that its using a TTY connection.

does AsyncStreams handle that? TTY is kinda like a cross of Telnet/serial connections types.

AsysncStreams does not implement any protocol, it just deals with sending and receiving raw data asynchronously.

Note that for text based protocols you should use AsyncStreamsText class.
