Share My Creation Test app: GPS tracking with Google Maps

Here we have a test app that I created just to learn drawing on Google Maps. I wrote this app and then I went for a quick 1.13 mile bike ride just to see if it would work correctly, and it did

This app was created for learning purposes only and not for the Play Store.

Speed and distance tracking.

It's really nice.
I started to ride bicycle and I want to make an app like this. Could you please share some experiences? How to track your route and draw it on map? Thanks.
