HI,
The Samsung Mondi has a 4.3 inch LCD screen at a resolution of 480 x 800
pixels and a slider keyboard. It is running the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating
system and it works well with Basic4ppc. The MONDI has Bluetooth, WiFi
and WiMAX but no built-in phone.
I have tested the Bluetooth with an external Firefly Bluetooth module
and it works well using COM 6 as the serial port.
The large 4.3 inch screen makes it much easier to see what you are doing.
Below are some pics and a size comparison with the LG Fathom which only
has a 3.2 inch LCD screen.
There is a 5.0 inch screen device made by J-Com called the Mypad which
is running Windows Mobile 6.1 with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. There is
also another 5.0 inch device called a Smartbook U2000 that runs Windows
Mobile 6.5.3 with a 480 x 800 pixel screen. Has anyone tried any of these
devices with Basic4ppc?
