Tired of buying new phones

I am living in Taiwan and need two phones - one for here and one for the US. I need both apple and Android for Dev. For my us phone I buy pixel and keep it 'till the wheels fall off. For Taiwan I can buy a used two or 3 yo iPhone that is still supported for about 100 buck us. And I, again I will keep it as long as I can. I had an iPhone 6 which I would have kept using except the phone company app that I use to pay the bill stopped working after an update.

It had been looking like companies intentionally produces lowest disk space. To keep selling devices. Those 256 gb are filled by WA alone in 1 or 2 years: so you need a new device. My next phone will be at least 1 TB of storage, preferably 2 TB if I could get one. Since I plan to keep it for so long (to only avoid migration process, not for the cost really). Specs are indeed as you said all sufficient for any use and can last for long years.
