Looks like node-less toast is impossible...
Actually my app is such app - UI, but without form at start (with system tray icon, as you recommended). And error is of another kind, see above, 1st error.
You can use displayMessage to show a task bar message as per below Dim jo As JavaObject = icon1 jo.RunMethod("displayMessage",Array As Object("Success", "Changes pushed successfully", "INFO")) However as you'll see below it says "OpenJDK Platform Binary" which is a bit unhelpful...
