ToastMessageShow has recently stopped working in 2 apps.

I am using B4A 10.0.
I'm using xCustomListView Class v1.72

TostMessageShow works without xClv

What could be the problem?

On second image, if you turn off first option (Show notifications), you will also hide all toast messages from that application.

I use Galaxy S7 with Android 8.0 and I haven't made an Android update for months.
I hope that this effect (automatic deactivation of 'application messages' after an update) only occurs with Android 8.xx.

What makes you think that an update affects the setting of 'application messages'?
I have some apps that I am constantly developing.
Since I'm using b4a v10.xx every app I recompile due to an update
will have the "toastmessage-function" disabled. (as described above) ...

WOW, thanks to this thread I was able to get ToastMessageShow to start showing up again.

I think this has something to do with changing to to SDK 29 more then anything else, my previous version was 28 or under.

Because I hadn't updated my App software on my phone in sometime.
But before the update I was always seeing the ToastMessageShow after the update the ToastMessageShows where not showing.
Drove me crazy until I searched the forum.

Turned back on the notifications and everything is fine. Will have to consider SDK downgrade to see if my thoughts on the new SDK in manifest triggered the problem.
