Well my boss asked me to create a new report, required by our client, in our inventory system application, which will give expenses vis-a-vis job done as in-house and from out-source.
I asked "Whats the benefit of the report ? As both expenses will be different obviously".
He said "If out-source expenses is a little bit more then it is better to get the job out-sourced and close the in-house one, and you save resources and time on it."
