How do I make a splash screen or full screen instruictions? I have a program running with a fullscreen image view. I load a layout for it. I was wondering how to have full screen instructions pop up> i want to use a button. However when I load the 2nd layout it gives a problem. Also, how can i get a splash screen to pop up for running the main program? Maybe the instructions can be a button on that layout.
How do I have transparent images? I read the tutorial but it doesn't jive. I have a imageview for a casino game. When I win chips I display a new BMP. When I loose chips I just show it without chips. The problem is that I have to use a box. The BMP is a box with the chips and background it in. Is there a way to have transparent images (alpha channel) to the chips will diisplay without a boxed background? I used the designer and have a imageview of the chips. I told it which BMP to use. So I guess I'm asking does imageview support aplha channels? is so, then what format to use?
