Hello

I need to detect when a notification arrives while using a aapp.
The notification is not from the app and is from any third party.

When a notification arrives when using a B4i App
does the Application(_Inactive state get triggered?
or is it
B4X:
Sub Application_ReceiveLocalNotification (LN As Notification)

End Sub

Many Thanks

The notifications that are causing trouble are ones from another appp / game.
Such as ones from a news app or some other game.
I do not understand how the user who reported this bug to me is having issues but
they seem to be.
They also state that they have installed my app on a ipod touch.

Could this be it?

I don't think so.

Your app cannot intercept notifications shown from other apps.

The notifications that are causing trouble are ones from another appp / game.
How are they causing trouble?

They say that when a notification arrives the app
goes into something like what i would call Application_Inactive or
Application_Background but I cannot reproduce this.
They say the app loses data that is normally saved during Application_Background

The only event i can raise is when the app is playing sound when the notification arrives.

I am beginning to think they are wrong.

Apologies for wasting your time.
