TTS Synchronization & sleep function

Hi,
1) In TTS :
Is there any parameter allowing to do synchroneous TTS, that is allowing to wait the completion of a speech instruction before to begin the next one ?

2) Wait function :
How can i do a "system wait" like a sleep or wait ?

Sorry for my post. I found tts property allowing synchronization speaking!
And about sleep function i shall use timer instead.
