Yesterday, whilst perusing the web for CAB file tools, (see latest sob story in the help thread!), I came across a site that mentioned an allegedly undocumented Windows app called IExpress.
Apparently it is a somewhat basic Wizard for creating somewhat basic packages. It can produce 3 types, a self extracting compressed archive, a similar thing but with a user specified installation program, and CAB files. Sadly, the latter are not device compatible.
Basically, all you do is, from Start/Run enter iexpress and off you go!
I dunno, it may be of some use to somebody, so I thought I'd better mention it.
Makes it tempting just to go through all the .exe's just to see what happens! OK, maybe not
Anyway, having started this thread, does anyone else have any other unknown apps they can add? Are there any on the device?
