i've been developing with 2.30 and it seems to work just fine for me.... i would like to go ahead and upgrade to whatever the current release is at the moment..... can someone point me to an anywhere software / basic4android site where i can download the latest.... the trial version doesn't seem to give a version number but perhaps i gave up trying to pry it out too soon..... don't like downloading from third parties so i'd like a link to an original b4a site.... nice software

If you have purchased B4A then Erel sends out a link with password to download the latest version.

if not just buy the standard (2 Months of upgrades), or enterprise (2 years !! of upgrades) for the ability to get the latest versions.

Beta Software Download

I was sent an email from Erel regarding the availability of the latest beta
test version. When I attempted to download the beta version it seems
that the web page is no longer available. Any suggestions?

perhaps....

i'd just better leave well enough alone.... can't really tell what version is good at the moment as i see references to 2.50, 2.52 and 2.70 but nothing that really identifies what is where.... like to support the efforts but really can't tell what is going on

2.50 is the major release.

2.52 is the latest stable release, it adds a few features to 2.5 and plenty of bug fixes I would assume. This is what everyone uses.

2.70 is the new version coming out fairly soon, and many users just began testing a beta version of it - I wouldn't use it for real development until it's released, though.

2.52 is your best bet.

no muss, no fuss...

went ahead and purchased..... the v2.52 release link is what arrived via email.... it installed and compiled my already existing b4a code originally constructed under v2.30 with no problems or reinstallation of SDKs... no muss, no fuss, glad i did it.... and again i say, nice software
