I am trying to connect to a USB Dongle in the USB Port in the side of the keyboard on my Asus EEE Transformer (Android 4.1.1).
I have read and (I thought) understood the USB Library classes and downloaded some of the sample code from the Forum. After Running manager.GetDevices, UsbDevices.length = 0. To check if either my device is not recognised or my code is wrong I have run it again with a wireless mouse dongle - which is working fine - and still get 0 devices returned.
(a) Am I missing something?
(b) Should I give up trying to connect the USB Radio? Another web site suggests the only way to do so is to modify the tablet's kernal and overwrite it in the root of the device.
