Hi,
Yes you can. Connect to your device from the main IDE using Tools /B4A Bridge/Wireless or Bluetooth (or via USB). Then in Designer double click on Connect & you should see the design on your device.
If the emulator is running you will be offered a choice between the two.

I've been playing around with the BlueStacks App Player, & noticed that it is also offered as an emulator from the Design screen - quite useful
Regards,
Robert

Super-fast alternative to emulator -> x86 Android

virtualBox - Super-fast alternative to emulator -> x86 Android

http://www.b4x.com/forum/basic4andr...ternative-emulator-x86-android.html#post62713

Kinda a pain to setup.
But well worth it.

virtualBox Manager
Setup Applicance (Virtual Device)
Setup Portriat Mode
Setup SDCard
Save SnapShot
Start from SnapShot
DOS command to connect to adb.
b4a | designer | tools | connect to Device / Emulator (b4a Virtual Designer)
Appliance (Virtual Device) | Machine | Disable Mouse Integration

Click into Applicance to get mouse control
left-click to select
middle click for menu
right-click for back
Press Right-Ctrl to release mouse from Appliance (virtual device) control

I had to setup WinXp32 FTP server to get 550mg maps.zip onto SDCard.
But if you have a hosted site somewhere you can upload to that site,
then download from the Appliance (virtual device) using iNet Explorer/Browser on Appliance (virtual device).

No GPS device available or workaround as yet with Virtual device.
