V6 on Vista home basic, my new laptop.

My old laptop died.

I've tried installing basic4ppc v6 on my new one, but messed the licence key bit up.
Now when I try to install it, it tells me my email is invalid.
If I uninstall it and try again, it doesn't give me the option for the licence key entry again. Is something left in the registry that uninstall doesn't remove.
