It forces the user to press a button to try again. How can I make the app just sit in listening mode indefinitely until it hears something? 2.- Even if the user speaks immediately, he sees a distracting "Say your message" message from Android. How can I suppress that message? Thanks in advance for any help on this.

It is simple to use however you cannot control its behavior. There are several alternative methods, such as this one: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/offline-continuous-speech-recognition.42898/#content Upvote 0
