you can always ask your provider to meassure your data connection.

they do that for free and can tell you if the distance to the central point is optimal or not (too far away) or if there is any interfearence on it.

maybe you use a satelite dish for internet connection? I don't know how it's working with that.

also have a look at the prices of symetric lines first, they were a lot more expensice than adsl/vdsl

Turkey is not a country like that Sorex =) You can't just call a company and ask for measure. Even if you are a customer of a service , they will ask you ? is internet live ? you will say yes but ... they will say ok and shut the phone. They think we use the internet just for surfing nothing more.

We have limited number of choices , adsl / vdsl is not an option as upload speeds are at maximum of 1mbit , fiber subscriptions have about 5mbit upload but have an upload quota of about 100 gb , and cable service provides upto 20mbit upload with symetric internet but it is expensive.
