Android Question wake up from sleep, check web page, go back to sleep

Hi, I have just bought B4A because I used to use it waaay back when it was PPC and really liked it. This Android thing is a bit new to me and I'm wondering if someone can help. I have a solar powered greenhouse and I need the tablet/phone to go into a very low power mode, then wake up every x minutes and check a web page to see if it needs to do something, then go back to sleep again. This puts a minimum load on my battery system. Has any seen or done anything like that? I'm hoping I won't be re-inventing the wheel on this one ...

What you want is called in b4a a "service", it can be set to start at a preset time , do something, set the next wake up and go to sleep.
