Android Question Webview slow to connect to Amazon Load Balancer

Hi,

I have an elastic load balancer in Amazon. When I connect initially (to a web application server running asp.net) with android app it takes more that a minute to connect. Once connected WebView works great. If I close the app, I will have the same problem again connecting. I have the same setup running on B4i and it connect straight away all the time without delay. Any idea what this could be with B4A?

Hard to say. B4A doesn't do anything special with the native WebView. Worth testing the time it takes to get a response with OkHttpUtils2.

Is there any known issues with WebView and SSL in B4A?

B4A has nothing to do with WebView communication. Everything happens internally in the native view.

Resolved to a gateway issue in one of the load balancer targets. Interestingly the IOS got around it and connected. The Android timed out and reconnected after about 2 minutes. Just FYI only and an update for anyone that's dumb enough to make the same mistake
