Hi,

I was thinking about picking a modern day tablet with good specs and trying to create a windows mobile
build for it so I can run Basic4ppc. Lets say the tablet hardware could support a screen resolution of
1280 x 1080, can Basic4ppc run at that resolution or would some code parameters have to be changed ?

Would Basic4ppc automatically use the current resolution that the tablet is supporting ?

Some of the modern day System On Chip devices can support a high screen resolution and some of
the manufacturers have created Windows CE 6.0 Board Support Packages for them.

I was thinking of trying find a good Single Board Computer that can support a high resolution LCD and
try to create a Windows CE 6.0 build for it and then try to create a Windows Mobile 6.5 build.

There are so many tablets on the market now that it should be easy to pick one with a good set of
features and create a Windows CE 6.0 build and then work up to a Windows Mobile 6.5 build.

I have a Witstech A81E 7-inch tablet with a screen resolution of 800 x 480 resolution and Basic4ppc
runs pretty good on that. The bluetooth interface in WinCE 6.0 is not very user friendly and I would
like to find something that has a better interface when it comes to setting up a bluetooth connection.

My favorite device so far when using Basic4ppc is the LG Fathom mobile phone running Windows
Mobile 6.5.3. It has a 1 GHz Snapdragon Scorpion CPU and setting up a bluetooth connection is
real easy. I figure Windows Mobile 6.5.3 would run well on the right tablet hardware.

The easy way to get to a tablet device would be to convert a phone into a tablet. If one could find
a large screen LCD that had a compatible display connector it might be easy to just swap out the
large display with the phones small display and you would basically have a tablet without having
to do to much work. All that would be needed then is a case to put it in.

Does anyone know of any good tablet kits where you can put what ever Operating System that you
choose on it ?
