Hi, guys

I need to change the hdd of my pi based server, and to do so, I need to first clone the actual hdd ( 2 partitions) to the future one, being that the actual hdd is 250GB and the future one is 1TB... ( seems I can later expand the file system through raspi-config)

So, can I do this backup from the network? or MUST I take the server apart and plug the 250GB directly to my laptop??

the fastest would be taking the disk and put it in a usb disk chassis or one of these IDE/SATA>USB thingies.

then clone it with Acronis/Ghost/whatever

Try using the free version of HDClone 6. I have the paid version and it's never ever failed me...
