According to vendor's site..they are right!
It is white with black stripes (no, they're not gold stripes).

I know that it's blue, but that's simply because the dress manufacture released a statement yesterday stating that fact. I personally say the the original photo was taken with a $1 piece of crap camera in terrible lighting conditions, or it was Photoshopped
