Android Question Why Doesn’t HttpUtils2 Download Text Files With The .tab Extension

I can download any text file that ends with the .txt extension using any method in HttpUtils2 from a web server to the device. However, when a text file has a .tab extension it returns ‘Not Found’ error and does not download it. If I change the extension of a .txt file on the server to a .tab extension, it no longer downloads even though it is the same file. Any concrete ideas or should I talk to my web host?

Do research on adding a custom mimi type, most likely .tab is not setup as a downloadable file type if you are on a windows server follow the instructions here http://www.iis.net/configreference/system.webserver/staticcontent/mimemap

Sorry I do not know how to do it in a Linux environment
