Android Question Why won't b4a load?

I have tried versions 9.80 and 10 and both install but when I open them, they start to load, but just hang, I've waited over 10mins, they won't show the IDE. My system is not the best but should be good enough.

Q8200 cpu
4 gigs ddr2
Onboard graphics
Windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

The temps are fine.

I used B4A maybe 1.5 - 2 years ago on same system and it worked although I was probably using version 7.80 or 8.80 and would have had windows 7 32bit.

No what version do I need, also I didn't think you needed the full Android SDK you just need the platform tools as said in the download page, but these are also not installable but need paths set so it shouldn't stop the ide from loading?

I installed the net framework 4.80 and it now works. Thanks.

Also the new IDEs shows no code when loaded, so if you are getting something like in this thread

then know that its is the new normal.

You just need to click File->New to start
