May I ask you if you have some issue with the preview image of your widgets and Android Lollipop ?
For my part, I do see the standard Android's icon and no image at all. It is working with versions above 5.0
I have tried to clear the launcher's cache and it had no effect at all.
There was a bug report but it is far old and I guess it should be fixed as other apps working well.
